Rumba Dance Workshop - RUMBAZO!
Saturday, November 8th, 2025 | 2pm - 5:30pm
About the Rumba Dance Workshop - !RUMBAZO!

We are so excited to continue the year with Masacote’s Afro Oriented Workshop Series. We will host different workshops throughout the year where you will have the opportunity to do more than just learn salsa. You will explore the various forms of the Afro movements, dance and percussion tradition through different movements and sounds representing the Orishas (deities from the African traditions). Making this connection will allow you to embrace dance and the music through a cultural context in community with other salsa dancers.

This month’s ¡Rumbazo! is extra special! We’re teaming up again with our friends at Metamovements to host a Rumba Dance Workshop before their signature music and dance celebration.
