Hybrid Classes
Our Hybrid Classes will be physically taking place at our CAC studio. Cameras will be set-up for students to participate virtually as well.
How to Participate Physically: Purchase a Hybrid Membership or Drop-In below in advance of taking classes. Front desk staff will not be present to process registrations on-site.
COVID-19 Guidelines: Please note that class sizes need to be limited to small groups (6-8 students per class) and all safety guidelines must be followed throughout the duration of the class (physical distancing, mask wearing, etc.). Please see HERE for the CAC's guidelines.

Our Virtual Classes will be supported by the Zoom platform.
How to Participate Virtually: Purchase a Virtual Membership below in advance of taking a virtual class. Once you do, a Zoom meeting link along with other supportive information will be emailed to you.
Upon entering the virtual class, please enter your first and last name into the field provided. We'd love to have your videos on, but you may keep them off if you prefer. After pressing the "join" button, you will be entered into a "waiting room" while we check you into the class. Please mute your mics upon entering.

Flow into Movement – Wednesdays @ 6pm EST
Flow into Movement
Schedule: Wednesdays 6:00-6:45pm EST
Location: CAC Yoga Room (215 First St. in Cambridge)

Description: This class explores the basics of choreography and encourages using space to create individual movements. We will focus on body movement drills, isolation techniques, and most importantly, finding your groove (your own way of communicating through the dance in general).
We will also explore the many styles of movement including hip-hop, jazz, modern, martial arts and acrobatics and even sports-like movements. Before getting into these movements, we’ll start the class with routine warm-up techniques to prepare the body for Afro-Cuban and Rumba fundamentals.
Each month we will work on a combination that includes a specific technique and body isolation that pulls it all together to support your body’s fluidity.
Eligibility: This class is open to everyone looking to gain body awareness (and have fun). All stages & Drop-ins welcomed!
Clothing: Your choice of sweat pants, dress pants, leggings, leotards, skirts, wraps and/or sarongs. Shoes: Heels, Jazz Shoes, or Dress shoes.

Masacote teaches Salsa NY Style On2 classes. This style focuses on the Tumbao rhythm of the congas, which creates a unique swing with the music.
Salsa Stage 2 Footwork

Description: Stages 2-4 require approval. Don't know your stage? If you know basics on 2 (cross body lead, inside turn, outside turn & footwork), start at Stage 1/1+ and let the coach know before class. Click HERE for the complete Masacote Salsa Syllabus.
Eligibility: Students who have previously taken the Salsa Stage 1/1+ Footwork classes will need to receive approval from their coach prior to taking this class. New students with Salsa On2 experience may drop-in at any time by contacting us at info@masacote.com ahead of time. It is possible to take classes only one day per week; however, students who are new to this stage are highly encouraged to take classes twice per week.

It is designed to enhance your creative process and support the intuitive expression of your movement and dance.

Qigong & Meditation - Wed & Fri @ 8am EST
Our open group virtual classes for Qigong & Meditation take place twice per week and are free and open to the public.

Schedule: Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00am EST
Coach: Joel Massicot
Description: Cultivate peace of mind and tranquility by learning some basic techniques of meditative practices for aligning mind, body and soul with Joel Massicot.
The class starts off with a Chinese practice called Qigong, an internal system that helps a person become one with their life force energy. Many physical issues stem from mental and emotional stress that create imbalances within the energy centers of the body. Qigong practice helps us nurture self-healing by managing the stressful emotions that prey on the mind when our chi is not regulated or balanced. Through it, you can build a deeper awareness and efficiency of breath to support and help build stamina around the respiratory system.
We then end the class with mindful meditation to help the practice solidify a more grounded experience creating momentum and inspiration in a person’s daily routine.

– Controlled Breathing
– Body Alignment
– Qi (Chi) Awareness
