Weekday Schedule
Each day will build on the previous day’s schedule.

Meditation – Practice mindfulness and balance.
Yoga Workouts – Build balance for joint mobility and stability! Workouts are optional, but participants who complete all 5 workout days receive a SURVIVOR Retreat t-shirt.
Breakfast – Prepared by the on-camp chef.
Intro to Qigong & Tai Chi – Learn meditative techniques for aligning mind, body and soul.
Afro-Cuban Movement – Learn body isolations, rumba and Afro-Cuban fundamentals.
Intro to Capoeira – Learn a mix of the culture, music, and movement of Capoeira.
Music Fundamentals – This class will be more of the theoretical side of the music.
Lunch – Prepared by the on-camp chef.
Beach/Siesta – Beach is a 5-min walk from camp!
Or Take Privates, Massage, Practice on site.
Music Technique – This class will be building on proper form with hand posture, maintaining time and steady tempo, and gaining proper tonality.
Footwork to Musicality – Learn to move/dance in relation to the music. Emphasis will be placed in salsa on2 timing.
Cool Down/Videotape – Stretch and videotape what was taught throughout the day.
Practice – Practice or free time.
Dinner – Prepared by the on-camp chef.
Free Time
Hot Chocolate Hour – Special group lectures and discussions each day.
Free Time – Break and enjoy the camp!
Schedule is subject to change. During free times, you are welcome to practice on your own in the studio (unlimited access at any time of day), visit the beach, play some basketball, lounge on the camp swings, or just relax.
