How to Register
We will be using the Zoom platform for our virtual classes. If you do not have an active membership (Recurring Membership, Intro Membership or Drop-In Pass), please purchase one in advance of taking a virtual class. Once you do, a Zoom meeting link along with other supportive information will be emailed to you.
Check-In Process
We recommend arriving five minutes before each class is scheduled to start. Please enter your first and last name into the field provided. We'd love to have your videos on, but you may keep them off if you prefer. After pressing the "join" button, you will be entered into a "waiting room" while we check you into the class. Please mute your mics upon entering.

Description: This class will incorporate various styles of dance (Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Afro to name a few) into your salsa repertoire.
It is designed to enhance your creative process and support the intuitive expression of your movement and dance.
Eligibility: All dance styles and stages welcomed.
Clothing: Your choice of sweat pants, dress pants, leggings, leotards, skirts, wraps and/or sarongs. Shoes: Heels, Jazz Shoes, or Dress shoes.
Qigong & Meditation - Wed & Fri @ 8:00am EST
Qigong & Meditation
Schedule: Wednesdays & Fridays 8:00-9:00am EST
Coach - Joel Massicot
Description: Cultivate peace of mind and tranquility by learning some basic techniques of meditative practices for aligning mind, body and soul with Joel Massicot.
The class starts off with a Chinese practice called Qigong, an internal system that helps a person become one with their life force energy. Many physical issues stem from mental and emotional stress that create imbalances within the energy centers of the body. Qigong practice helps us nurture self-healing by managing the stressful emotions that prey on the mind when our chi is not regulated or balanced. Through it, you can build a deeper awareness and efficiency of breath to support and help build stamina around the respiratory system.
We then end the class with mindful meditation to help the practice solidify a more grounded experience creating momentum and inspiration in a person’s daily routine.
What you will work on:
– Pranayama Meditation
– Movement Exercises (Tai Chi)
– Controlled Breathing
– Body Alignment
– Qi (Chi) Awareness
Eligibility: Class is open to all students. New students are welcome any time.

Salsa Stage 2 Footwork - Tues & Thurs @ 8:00pm EST
Masacote teaches Salsa NY Style On2 classes. This style focuses on the Tumbao rhythm of the congas, which creates a unique swing with the music.
Salsa Stage 2 Footwork
Schedule: Tues & Thurs 8:00-8:45pm EST

Description: Stages 2-4 require approval. Don't know your stage? If you know basics on 2 (cross body lead, inside turn, outside turn & footwork), start at Stage 1/1+ and let the coach know before class. Click HERE for the complete Masacote Salsa Syllabus.
Eligibility: Students who have previously taken the Salsa Stage 1/1+ Footwork classes will need to receive approval from their coach prior to taking this class. New students with Salsa On2 experience may drop-in at any time by contacting us at info@masacote.com ahead of time. It is possible to take classes only one day per week; however, students who are new to this stage are highly encouraged to take classes twice per week.
